Students in Jazz Ensemble can expect to learn essential jazz skills like improvising solos, and comping (accompanying with chords) to expand and grow their musicianship alongside friends while having fun!! Guitar, Drums, Piano, Bass Guitar, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Clarinet, Singers & More
Who should sign up?:
Middle and High schoolers who have 2 years or more experience on their instrument (or the equivalent in knowledge & skill)
Students who love music and want to advance their musical ability in a small group/band environment
Commitment to practicing independently between Fridays to polish up individual parts of songs
No prior jazz experience required
